You have to understand. He makes his living in a bloodsport. Confidence is key. He can't go to sparring, training, and ultimately, fight night, thinking that "I'm not that good". He has to believe that there was a reason for the poor performances. And that reason has been fixed. You saw the same thing with hatton, mosley, delahoya, etc.

At your job, the worst thing that can happen is that you get some semen in your hair. At his job, he can end up on a cold slab.

I think the last straw was the throwing in of the towel. But I think DiBella's done good job with Paulie. Got him fights with Cotto and Hatton. Who how many other fighters can say they have done that.

Paulie thought he was going to beat Miguel Cotto :lmfao:
He had cameras following him around day and night before that fight and they were going to make this huge documentary about Paulie about how great he was blah blah blah. I am so thankfull we never got to see this because it would have made even his own fans sick to their stomachs. Today, not even flies will follow Malignaggi around.
