You Have To Be Smart And Work Hard to Get Somewhere That Matters, But It Doesn't Take Anything But ******ity To Be a WorthLess Piece Of Trash.
Doesnt He Have Kids? If so they need To Be Taken Away ASAP, For Their Own Sake. Being Raised By Kirkland Wont Be Doing Them Any Favors.

it wont be that bad. He'll get more probation time. if he doesn't, then his lawyer sux.
theres ways to get out of the possession charge.
-say you were on your way to the gun range.
- you were at the gun range a couple days ago and you forgot you had the gun.
-Play ****** and say its not yours
all these will work unless the gun is hot or has been in a previous crime.

He has no business putting himself in situations where he needs to carry a gun. I don't know if they did or not but his managers should have moved him far away from the "hood" and surrounded him with positive people. Too many times athletes who are from rough neighborhoods let these thugs they grew up with leach off of them and keep them in that ****** mentality. You are a professional, you need to act like one. And if it's that serious, Why not hire a bodyguard who can carry a gun legally to be with him?

oh well, the dude ****ed up - why even **** around with that **** when you have a potentially good boxing career ahead of you?
Besides, he's not allowed to protect himself because he's a felon. I know I have the same law against me as I too am a convicted felon. That was a long time ago (10 years) but for the rest of my life I am not legally allowed to own a gun to protect myself. I have sympathy for Kirkland because I can relate in a way.
Even though it was a mistake on his part, where he's from, the life he lived and the mentality he has, it's better to get caught with a strap than without it, if you know what I mean.Last edited by ИATAS; 04-20-2009, 05:51 PM.
