I'm not really a Calzaghe fan but seriously!

You're seeing this as an onlooker, so your opinion on how much any fighters punches hurt is irrelevant. Those who have fought Calzaghe disagree with you. Example:

Before Lacy the HBO were all like "Lacy will destroy that coward"
Calzaghe put on a clinic, so they were like "Well, he was a bum, but you can't beat Manfredo!" Joe Destroyed him. Then they were like "You coward, why wont you fight Kessler" so Joe ****ed his **** up, then it was all "why wont you fight American fighters scumbag! so Joe won a good fight with bernard (im a b-hop fan) and then it was "why don't you fight Jones, yeah! Jones by brutal KO, so joe schooled Jones, then it was "Chad Dawson, yeah fight him now or your ****!"


Seriously, has any other boxer been hounded by hbo like this, I just watched a bunch of Joes fights and i never noticed before but he did everything they asked for and they just refused to give him credit.

Dude if you know anything about HBO you would know that they talk **** about a lot of fighters. They talked more **** about Roy Jones than they ever did about Calzaghe. Problem with Calzaghe is that he didn't show his face for 10 years after winning his super middleweight WBO belt from Eubank. That was there problem.... and most everyone that dislikes him.

Gotta give him credit he did beat like 5 dudes in his entire career.

Overly HYPED "mini mike" Lacy: for American (big dollar) recognition.... along with Peter "the TV star" Manfredo as an honorable mention and another OVERLY HYPED fighter. Also what have these two done lately?

Kessler: to unify the belts which was IMO to date his best win out of his entire 46 victories. Great win but the question remains, what has Kessler done lately?

Hopkins: which he just looked bad but got the ugly win against the TOP LHW and Hop went on to beat Pav. Made Joe look some what good I guess......

Jones: who most people accept that he's washed up, old, shot etc etc. I don't personally believe that about Jones but many do. I think if you would take prime for prime. 1996-1997 the year they both were SMW, Jones would have "DESTROYED" him.

But that's neither here nor there and Joe beat the Jones of 2008. so no hate.

But again HBO talks **** about a lot of fighters unless you make them money. HBO's annoying like that. I think you got it mixed up with the American public that talked the ****. Joe gets A LOT and when I say A LOT I mean anywhere I have gone public to watch fights he is boo'ed at and laughed at. Especially MMA fans.....

But hey he got his, he beat Jones and Hop two old vets and retired undefeated. He played his timing smartly.

He wont be remembered as an ATG but he should make it into the HOF. Emanuel Steward actually praises him. Come to think of it I haven't even heard HBO talk badly about Joe. Just the American public. but hey no hate from me, im just saying I've never heard HBO talk **** about Joe but I wouldn't put it past them.

Calzaghe gets the respect he deserves. What more do you people want? It's freaking Lacy & Kessler - who cares what people thought then, isn't it about what we know now? I used to think Santa Claus existed when I was four, I guess I should remain ignorant.
