Just come out and say it? "These biased American commentators never give us poor Europeans our fair dues" Instead of trying to incite other people to comment the same sentiment for you. It truely is pitiful that you have to fabricate quotes to make your mundane point. HBO never called Calzaghe a Coward. Why would they hype a Showtime fight and praise Lacy anyways? Don't get me wrong there were many writers hyping up Jeff and that is what makes Joe's win over him credible. No one and I mean, no one was hyping up Manfredo over at HBO or on boxing scene, but I should of expected a biased point of view and a bogus quote to follow. Don't get me started on "Why don't you fight American fighters scumbag" as it completely contridicts your "why don't you fight the European Kessler" line. The Jones fight was wanted by both Calzaghe and Roy not just HBO, as they thought it would garnesh them a great deal of money but the PPV numbers were disapointing. I was a bit surprised that Joe fought Jones when he spoke so candidly about the current state of Roy in his Auto Biography. Roy was not a legacy fight by any means but Chad on the other hand may of been. Some of Joe's biggest fans want him to fight Dawson but I don't blame Joe for retireing.

Floyd Mayeather has been hounded by HBO and lets not forget about the incredible amount of posters on this board that do the same, so there goes your biased HBO yank theory. BTW Mayweather has accomplished more in his shorter career yet gets more hate. Think about that for a second before forming opinions based on nationality next time. Joe is a good boxer, but imo, saying Lacy is a big win, is an insult to Boxing. Joe is better than that.

Lacy did sustain an injury after his bout with Joe which hampered his career. Also his confidence may have been drained when he received that trouncing by Calzaghe.
