Well it will prove how good or great Marquez is, overcoming limitations(if their really are any). Thats why Ray Leonard is considered great, he overcame limitations, so has Floyd, and people just writing off Marquez completely makes one wonder if they think he is a great fighter or not. Even if he doesnt win, it may be about his showing thats most important.

Id love to see the fight at 140, but if Im the top dog and I plan on fighting at 147 after this fight, no way am I going to go down to a lower weight at this age against someone who needs me more than I need him, not happening.

Speculating? Can you give me a gameplan for Marquez where he beats Floyd? In fights where I see a guy is pretty much better in every department, the only senario for the underdog is knockout pretty much.

Marquez is very crafty at what he does and with his smarts he nullfies a lot of his opponents stongest traits. He can nullify Manny's speed just as much as he can nullify Juan Diaz's size because he is very disciplined in the ring (save for two rounds against Manny).

Mayweather isn't necessarily a volume puncher nowadays. He preferes to land single shots and then get back into his defensive posture readying himself for counters. I can see a point where JMM forces Mayweather to be more agressive (Mayweather normally is a counter puncher by trade) and lay some traps for him. I can also see Marquez doing better work against Mayweather's shoulder roll D better than anyone because his footwork is impeccable and could pivot into better position than most other fighters who choose to square to Mayweather in hopes of landing their lefthook when Mayweather shoulder rolls

he would have to fight a perfect fight to do it but if there is one man who could be disciplined enough to do it its JMM

Heres why Floyd aint fighting him at 135-140 pounds.

1. JMM called out Floyd...KNOWING Floyd is a bigger name..star..fighter... and also knowing his last fight was at 147 pounds.

2. When Williams called out Calzaghe do you expect Joe to come to 160......Did you expect Adamek to come to 175 pounds to fight Hopkins????/....You did'nt.

3. To answer your sig question: Then why would he call out Floyd?...Why?...If Im a 140 pounder and I call out Cotto...do you think Cotto is goig to come to 140...**** no....He called out Pac and Mayweather...if you dont want to fight a guy who was a WW in his last fight and a guy who hasnt weighed 140 pounds in 5 years then go fight somone else. But he chose to sit at the table with Team Floyd.

4. Meeting in the middle is fine....There is nothing wrong with a catch weight...143.5 is fine..right in the middle...Hopkins-Pavlik was a catch weight...Its a part of boxing..Floyd even came off the 147 pound thing and said 143.5 is the lowest hell go....Nothing wrong with that.

I believe Floyd would come forward against Marquez, thats when Marquez is most vulnerable. Same thing if he fights Pacquiao, they both dont fight as well going backwards. When I say he isnt a welterweight Im saying that isnt his best fighting weight.

Dude, we cool. I think we understand each other. But I insist that PBF may go back to 140 lbs knowing the kind of athlete he is... and he beats JMM. About Hatton and ODLH been good wins, nah... no way Jose..., huh-uh..., N-O..., no!!! Hatton was dead lock on the losing side of the fight. ODLH was no match for PBF due to age, and skills. I will never buy those two wins. Those were easy wins like Gatti and Baldo, period.
