No he didnt. He said he wasnt going to fight Cotto because Cotto's fanbase wasnt big enough. In fact, he said it on ESPN.

But Cotto never said he DIDNT want to fight Mayweather. Mayweather said he didnt want to fight Cotto and the reason he gave was that Cotto doesnt have enough fans.

I take that as "I want a big name fight right now" in other words.. and yeah of course that gonna piss off hardcore fight fans that much rather see Mayweather fight Cotto then him fighting Oscar at the time but hey if I was in that position I would without a doubt go after that big payday instead as well... Much like Mosley not wanting to fight Andre Berto right now that is exactly the same situation exept Mosley is not gonna word it in such a fashion that is going to piss people off lol

! simple Question, Why if Cotto didnt called Mayweather out(By FLoyd stans Standars), FLoyd felt like making like 100 excuses on why not to fight Cotto, if the fight wasnt even discuss by the parts?
