I remember him being the underdog in the Trinidad fight so you're right in that being 1 of his best wins.
BTW, Tarver was the number 1 Light Heavyweight when Hopkins fought him if i'm not mistaken.

It's weird though, as big as Hopkins is, you see how many times he is the underdog? even against former WW. Hopkins is always doubted but he always comes through for the critics and then he is dissed about facing smaller opponents after he was a clear underdog before fighting them.

Sorry about getting off the thread sub.
    you have a point.

but.......20 years from now are historians gonna be talking about how he ktfo an undefeated tito or pavlik?

I give him a 7 (Only because he hasn't beaten JMM decisively) and he didn't fight Nate.

he's had 1 fight at 135 and you complain about him not fighting someone?

how many fights has floyd fought at 147 and you guys excuse why he hasn't fought cotto or marg?

if you want to use big money fights with ricky and oscar as an excuse......that's fine. no one can turn down that kind of money. but can't manny use that same excuse as well?

and yes he hasn't beat jmm convincingly......but at least he fought him TWICE. and maybe a 3rd time......who knows.

manny paquiaos resume speaks volumes. and it doesnt matter what the haters say about barrera moralez n larios being washed up or shot remember erik moralez beat manny paquiao in the 1st fight. he has won numerous titles in different weight classes has beaten numerous future hall of famers. one thing that separates manny paquiao resume from 90% of his peers is win(barrera1-morales2-marquez2-diaz n delahoya) lose(moralez1) draw(marquez1) he always was entertaining to watch.

Yeah, Mayweather might possibly add a Pac or a Cotto (I hope) to his resume. Lets be patient as for David Diaz, dude is TRASH...he should have faced Nate and Pacquaio still hasn't proven he is the better fighter between him and JMM

                  9. His team has made the best fights out there for him. Don't discredit going up to 147 and humiliating HOF Oscar and going against Hatton. After that Pac could fight Mayweather will make his resume an automatic 10.

Pac made his hall of famer kills look like trash, washed up, shot. Pac is top 5 ATG easily.
