    A fighter with a degree of commonsense would of questioned the methods of Graham as a trainer. Graham was nothing more than a conditioning coach from what ive seen.

    Tactically= zero %

      Floyd knows what Hatton was lacking against Junior..
      Impovements to movement & conditioning have been implemented, if this doesn't take the snap out of his body punch's, mission accomplished...

        just my 2 cents...

        maybe team hatton thought ricky wont be able to outbox such a fine boxer like PBF... so they took a page from jose luis castillo's gameplan against PBF in their first fight which was smart inside fighting & educated pressure... traits that castillo was absolutely very good at...

        its just that jlc implemented his gameplan better than the hitman...

            That's exactly what Hatton does - he keeps coming forward no matter what. He is known for this. Against Mayweather he took some hard shots flush but just kept charging at him all night up till he got KO'd. Hatton respects no-ones power and will charge at Pacquiao for 3 minutes of every round, and that's why he will pose problems for Pac. Manny needs time and space to get in and out quickly, and he won't be able to do this against Hatton. He will have to dance circles around the ring and pot shot to keep Hatton off him, but he's no PBF and won't be comfortable doing this.

                It's only been a problem against Mayweather at 147 in round 10. It wasn't a problem against Tszyu or Collazo, both of whom hit harder and are bigger than Manny. Also, Manny needs space and momentum to put power in his punches, and he won't get anywhere near as much time and space he has been used to in previous fights. And with Mayweather Snr teaching him better technique, his defence will be better as well.

                  I think this is going to be manny's problem i nthis fight there thinking that once manny hits hatton, ricky will resort back to his old style....I think its clearly the other way around...I think oce manny feels the power of a true 140 fighter...manny will walk into ricky's trap, and mmany will go back to his old style.
                  i dont agree that manny will just go back to his old brawling lefty style but i do agree with you that when manny tastes hattons power and he feels how a genuine 140lb fighter hits hes going to be in trouble.

                  tbh the ricky of old could have beat pacman and no matter whichr ricky turns up whther its the brawling one or the more boxing one he is going to win - not because hes better boxer but simply because hes too damn big!

                  if ricky uses his boxing he'll just KO him later on in the fight if he uses his brawling i dont expect pacman to lst more than 7/8 rounds.

                      The comment Moorer made was when Malignaggi was constantly clinching Hatton and since Ricky has the reputation for clinching he must have assumed he was initiating the clinches while it was Paulie doing it to stop the onslaught...
