Bob Arum is just standing up for Donaire, and this is his response to Gary Shaw when Shaw said he wouldn't give Donaire a chance to fight Vic again, even if he crawls on his knees and beg.

Arum is all about the money, and he's just making sure that his boxer won't get the short end of the stick when it comes to the negotiating table, and that's how you protect your boxer. He makes it sound like he's not interested in the rematch, but in reality, he is...

It's more of a reverse psychology rather than not wanting the fight. Calling Vic "can't draw flies" and "will lose 99 out of 100" should irk the darch team. If that doesn't then he's a chicken.

I wouldn't mind seeing the rematch. Their 1st fight was great to watch and they could build the rematch to be even bigger and i wouldn't mind seeing darchinyan get KOed again.

their first fyt wasn't a great watch!! nonito kept on tagging "darchickenyan" in every round! vic landed very few notable power punches....which donaire just shrugged off. the rematch entirely depends on vic and his promoter garry shaw. but they don't want any of it

This is a quality rematch fans are interested in, and could be won by either guy. No reason for it not to happen if both fighters still want it.

guys u should know uncle bob by now. this is just another of his posturings. arum knows nonito needs "reeling bull" more than darchickenyan needs donaire. their rematch will be a big fyt and a very good showcase for nonito's great boxing abilities. for all intents and purposes,...arum wants the fyt with vic very badly!

Either guy could win. However I'm a fan of Vic so im pulling for him. I hope the fight happens because Vic deserves the rematch.
