Why else do you think Arum is saying he doesn't want the fight to happen?

guys u should know uncle bob by now. this is just another of his posturings. arum knows nonito needs "reeling bull" more than darchickenyan needs donaire. their rematch will be a big fyt and a very good showcase for nonito's great boxing abilities. for all intents and purposes,...arum wants the fyt with vic very badly!

it is really up to vic and garry to man up with Nonito "Filipino Flash" Donaire, Jr.

I don't like Arum or Gary Shaw, they are bad for boxing. It just seems these two are not willing to fight each other again because of the risk. They want to use their promoters as excuses why a rematch was not made.

You did not get the message of Arum. Darch camp are ducking Donaire by sticking on Shaw excuses. Now Arums taunted them by saying that Darch is just nothing anyway. If Darch camp felt challenged as Arum's expected, Darch comes and lodge openly their challenge for a rematch with Donaire! Of course, Arum would play a little bit harder to protect his word, and for the financial advantage of Donaire and his promotions when the match-making comes, but they would give in anyway very soon after a short publicize verbal offenses against each camp!

But I will tell you, this wont gonna work though! Darch would not fight Nonito for a rematch because they know what they could only chew!

And on top of that, Arum feels if Pacman-Mayweather were to get done, Mayweather gets 35-40% while Pacquiao gets the Lions share. Arum is getting too ****y with his fighters.

But this must be the right thing! Pac is now the incumbent P4P king and he should be given the proper accolades including the advantage of sharing! Floyd Jr is right now is technically dead and no longer a P4P king. Now if he want to redeem that throne, he should come out and rise from his grave and work his way up again until he'll get that throne he vacated. But it's not an easy task though, because way up there is thorny and i doubt if he can get past throught especially at the summit! Things are simply not the same as it was during his time!

As someone else said, if he's posturing in the hope that Shaw will change his mind and start negotiations, it seems a very odd way of doing it. A better tactic IMO would be to point out that it's the fight everyone wants to see, and to accuse Vic of being a coward. That ought to make Vic want to rise to the challenge, and to instruct Shaw to make the fight. But pretending that no one wants the fight to happen will almost certain turn into a self fulfilling prophecy, IMO. And as Arum's not ******, that makes me think that he really doesn't want the fight to happen.

If that were true, Arum wouldn't need to publicly pretend that no one wants to see the fight when that's obviously untrue. He'd call Vic out instead, and try to make the fight. But he won't call Vic out because he's scared Vic might agree to fight Donaire, and that's clearly the last thing Arum wants to happen.

Best post of the thread. Most of the rest of it is my fighters better than your fighter garbage. Arum and Shaw get out of the way and let these 2 slug it out again. There is no bigger money fight available right now for either of them.
