It does bug me a little bit. Floyd was unable to meet hatton at 140 last time so he is a welter weight. As far as i can remember floyd came in at 152 for de la hoya. Google mayweather 152 to check for yourself

Hattons a former champ at 147 but he gets a pass because "his frame is too small"

Clottey has like 22 pounds advantage over PBF
Williams would have 16 pounds advantage
if he has a huge weight disadvantage in a weight, it's because he doesn't belong there.

he should go down and stay at JWW, of course until someone gets shot and old and he calls him out at 147 or 154.

btw, marquez isn't a JWW, so he really would be at a 12lb disadvantage. isn't floyd the greatest of all time (according to him)? then fight marquez, then fight the top welters and stop making up excuses

Is this a serious statement or a sarcastic question. If you really mean it then I have a new found respect for you. And this is a problem for Floyd if his biggest fans are even getting turned off.

You know what Hatton comes in at for his fights and what he is expected to come in at for Pac by fight-time?

Did you know that Pac was 152 pounds with 6% bodyfat during his training for Oscar according to Freddie Roach?

Mayweather can fight Pacquiao and Hatton at welterweight, those would be fair right?

What about Paul Williams,Antonio Margarito, Joshua Clottey were those guys welterweights? They fought at 147 pounds. Why couldnt Mayweather fight those guys since they were welterweight? Would those fights have be unfair?

What about Miguel Cotto? Shane Mosley?

This thing about not dropping to 140 pisses me off. If he wants to fight super featherweights and light welterweights at 147 he should be able to fight the real welterweights at 147.
Look scab...JMM's broke ass called-out Floyd..not the other way around.

Juan's ****sucking ass is in NO position to make demands.

It's not like Floyd called him out.

But in the boxing world, a Welter-weight is anybody that steps on the scales at 147 pounds even if he has to drain his body of fluids and can put on +10-20 pounds by fight-time with the use of an I.V.
                Those are the rules,

the same rules that allow fighters to steal rounds by shoe shining, or by playing, "tag, you're it".

                  Margarito called out Floyd,

and Floyd tucked his tail between his legs.

"bu, but, if a fighter wants to fight Floyd, they have to call him out".
