Bradley isn't quicker than Hatton, I would say they are roughly the same.

Hatton has a 65 inch reach compaired to Bradley's 69 inch. and as you say Bradley is short fighter with a short reach, hatton is a short fighter with a miniscule reach.

Bradley can use his speed to fight at range, Hatton doesn't have that option no matter how fast he is.

nope, usually its hatton that's hugging

floyd didn't hold, floyd used his elbows and forearms to get space so he could punch. hatton does all the holding

i don't think it was that ignorant a thread
So they both technically fouled in that fight

A boxer may not hit below the belt, in the back of the head, or strike an opponent who is down, even to one knee. Such actions are called fouls. Other fouls include kicking, tripping, wrestling, excessive holding, hitting an opponent's eye with the thumb of the glove, hitting with the forearm or the inside of the glove, butting with the head, or using the elbows. A boxer who commits a foul is warned by the referee and may lose points. Too many fouls may result in disqualification.

Hatton is nothing without hugging... That's why he lost to Mayweather when Joe Cortez took that only skill from him.. LOL...

If he believe in his abilities he should not complain... Why? because he and his fans knows that without hugging, he is nothing... Come may 2 and he will probe himself right again when Manny take that hugging away from him...

Speed is part of your physical attribute so it cannot be taken away...
Hugging is part of dirty tactics...

good post . hattons lucky he ever became champion . if he fought
in the states more he would have been disqualified long ago
That's so true! In America (John Ruiz) people don't get away (Bernard Hopkins) with holding.

Hatton was crying like a baby when Joe took that nly skill away from him...

If you believe I'm wrong, then answer this Hatton fan..

Why Ricky was complaining against Joe Cortez?
          What was he complaining about?..
Why Ricky has been known for hugging?

Answer those questions directly and don't make any excuse... I'm a pacfan and a boxing fan but this is all about Ricky...

And if you tell me he did not hug Paulie then the answer is simple... Paulie is already hugging him and if he also hug then they both gays.. LOL

yeah, but floyd wasn't hugging or holding. floyd was creating space so he could punch.

if hatton didn't want to eat forearm or elbow he shouldn't try and hug and hold.

You don't need to be a grammarian to post in this international forum... It pretty understandable...

                BTW, it's offense

Everyone makes mistake... that includes you.. and that is acceptable..

USING the elbows is illegal as well

That was the point of my post.

Bradley certainly gets out of the way of a punch way quicker than Hatton does, hence I say Bradley is faster.

I agree with that Hatton is short with a short reach.

If you are striking your opponent with an elbow, yes, its illegal... But if you are in defensive mode and using your elbow to slip your opponent's punch I don't think it's illegal..
