But Pacquiao has never been tested above 130. Atleast Hatton fought
two tough fights at 147 & tested his chin against them. Pacquiao will
be fighting his first toughest opponent above 130 because Diaz &
De La Hoya as we all witnessed does not count. This fight will show
    what Manny can really do.

Pacquiao's 2 loses early in his career,

to singsurat @ 112 when he was weight drained ( i know i know excuses) nevertheless, he was 20 years old. He skipped 2 boxing divisions & went straight to junior feather 122. If thats not evidence of being weight drained then i dunno what is.

to torreacampo @ 106/110 when pacquiao was what 17 years old
      heres a link;

      Simultaneous headbutt & lowblow.

If this is what Ricky is blabbing about then he is really in trouble. I mean seriously, is ricky expecting those 2 pacquiao's to show up?

He's really scraping the bottom of the barrel trying to explain pacquiao's propensity to body blows as evidence of his chance to beat Pacquiao by a body shot.

yeah...but you never think the same before the dlh fight did you? besides, pacquaio accepted the dlh fight knowing that he's at a big disadvantage against oscar, and most boxing fans and analysts gave him no chance of beating the golden boy. pacquiao showed us his true mettle ever since his jump from 112 to 122.he's been fighting bigger and stronger boxers since then and hatton is just one of them.

Dont forget it was ricky hatton who was oscar's first choice to fight when floyd decided to retire. Ricky bitched out on the fight saying oscar is too big. There are numerous videos in utube where he said this.

Now he wants to slag off Pacquiao for his victory in a fight where he was too scared to accept in the first place.

Oscar was too big. In order for it to be a fair fight, Hatton would have had to move up to Oscar's weight or Oscar would become too small and dead at the weight moving down to Hattons weight. Oh wait, that already happened with Pacquiao.

I mean, we all wanted to believe that Oscar was the old Oscar
but fact of the matter is that he was done and in a way fooled us
all into buying the fight because he knew that he had nothing left.
Manny put on a spectacular performance and that I will not take away
from him because he is always ready to fight but the truth behind it all is that Oscar did not show up to fight & I guess we all thought he would be able to use his size and out muscle the lil Pac because Pac is always
there to be hit if you can catch him effectively you can hurt or wobble
him but Oscar couldn't and gave up in the ring. Ricky Hatton is NO
Oscar and is very game, so this won't be Pacquiao coming into the
ring pissing all over Hatton but again I'm done trying to speak on
this fight, I much rather wait to see it.

How do u know that Nostradamus? ricky fought at 147 in two fights. He's a 140 pounder. They would fight at 147 not 154. This has already been stated. There are u tube interviews where ricky said he doesnt want to fight oscar at 147 or anybody for that matter.

So u got a guy who is a career 140 pounder, who fought at 147, 2x scared to fight oscar, but a career featherweight/ junior lightweight who only had one fight above 130 moves up 2 divisions to fight @ 147.

I say again what right does hatton have to slag off Pacquiao's win vs oscar? That couldve been him doing that to oscar but he didnt have the balls to fight him.

You have a point because if Hatton didn't want to fight him then why
knock Pacquiao for fighting him? But again, I think Hatton is just going
off of how Oscar looked and his performance not so much bashing Manny.
I think Hatton just knows that Manny wasn't really tested in his fight
with Oscar and for that he has a point. Plus Oscar is Hatton's promoter
so that could have played a factor in it too but who knows? All I know
is that we have a FOY coming up May 2nd.

its gonna be too much of a one sided drubbing by Pacquiao to be FOTY. Like i said, this is a showcase fight for Pacquiao to prepare the boxing public, hopefully the mainstream public for Pacquiao vs Mayweather. I agree tho, this is a true barometer for Manny in terms of the higher weight class.

if you watch the interviews hes not slaggin off the win at all he even said in an interview on the wright vs williams fight that "any win against dlh is an amazing one but that on that particular night it wouldnt have been too hard for anyone to beat oscar because of the physical condition he was in" and if you think its going to be a one sided drubbing by pac you obviously dont know boxing because its going to be an amazing fight by both fighters
