And what is ultra elite? Calzaghe does not have Hopkins skills as a fighter yet he is now ultra elite? Do you just make up words?

      Negative, and ultra elite. Wow.

What I will say it Taylor does have the ring smarts and consistent technical good game to beat Hopkins. Whereas Calzaghe finds Hopkins defence a nitemare. So style wise the Calzaghe win was impressive.

I think it was harsh Hopkins didn't get a win out of one of those though. All it would have taken was a couple of judges seeing things differently. Shame in some ways.

warp and the bringer, bhop's biggest fans think theres no way hopkins won the first fight(mainly because he gave up so many rounds, at least 6)

that tells me anyone who claims robbery in the 1st fight= ****ing moron.....(including all those ***** ass east coast writers who always give it to the slick east coast guy)

I understand what he meant by the aggressive fighters like Calzaghe and Taylor being too much for a fighter who is less consistent like Hopkins. In the end both Taylor and Calzaghe's work rate and aggression earned them the win. I am not a big Hopkins fan, but I have to give credit where it's due, because he really delivered some great counter punches against both fighters.

What about the 2nd fight? I scored the first fight a draw when I watched it live (and when I rewatch it I don't see how Taylor WON, but it was close so I don't complain about it) and the 2nd I had bhop clearly winning.

Yeah seriously, B-hop did nothing for the 1st 4 rounds and people say he was robbed at the end of the fight....get the **** out.

Watching live I thought Hopkins lost the first fight, I watched again in slow motion which was painstaking but I saw Taylor's punches were not landing, hard to see live. I had Hopkins winning the first fight after that.

The next person who says "negative" in relation to boxing ought to be punched in the god damn face.

If a fighter is defensive, why don't you call him....oh, I don't know.....DEFENSIVE. DEFENSIVE/AGGRESSIVE. Simple words, clear meaning.

Sorry for such a "negative" post. Although...my statement was kind of aggressive...so perhaps it was positive afterall?

Or maybe the negative cancels out the positive and we have neutrality......kind of like Gatti was sometimes, his positivity was too much and he was lacking in the negativity department.....and boom neutralized.

well i clearly think its not wrong to think hop won that one, since i didnt call people morons for thinking robber in that one(ironically, people who go by what writers and **** say, think this fight was closer or jermain won)

theres a trend with writers- east coast gives it to the slick and-or black guy

west coast to the ones who "does more damage"(even if the "damaged" fighter never gives any serious signs of being hurt)
