Cotto vs. Mosley was not a draw. Mosley won 5 rounds, maybe, if we're being extremely generous. 1-3, 9 & 10. Rounds 2 and 3 are actually negligible. Cotto then dominated the 11th just to remind the judges who's dictating the fight (and that he was never out of gas, but coasting), and then niether fighter did anything in the 12th.

When Cotto did call out Mayweather by stating, "Yeah, I'd fight Mayweather. But no one can make him fight. I'll fight de bess; I'll fight whoeber dey put in front of me."

In response, Mayweather chooses to fight De La Hoya again, and says on ESPN, "Cotto needs to make a fight for himself before I make a fight with him. He's still a little bit green; his name isn't really out there."

Then he backed out of that deal and allegedly retired.

Now he's owed nothing. He has no claim to any championship. He never faced the best at 147, and therefore was never the true Welterweight Champion. If he wants it, he has to call out Cotto, Mosley, or Pacquaio. Heck, even Paul Williams might f--- him up. They are the best right now. But he won't do that, because he never wants to fight the best. He wants to hand pick smaller guys, force them to be at a weight disadvantage by moving to meet his demands, and then take most of their money while he's at it.
