NO to both fighters. When i think of HOF fighters i think of greats and i think of neither guy when i think of great. they were at best good fighters that i respect because they were entertaining but no i dont think they are HOF material.

I say no to both. The hall of fame should be reserved for the best of the best. Niether Gatti nor Tarver fit that description.

There are enough fighters unworthy of the HOF that are already in, and many that have been worthy that keep getting passed over.

I think alot of the responses that want Gatti in are influenced because he was a good guy, good personality, likable, and a warrior( I agree but it does not get him in).

Gatti might get my vote by a slight margin, but Tarver would not.

I think the Hall of Fame should be for all-time great boxers, not just good ones.

That is not what the Hall of Fame is though. Obviously if it was neither of these guys would even come into consideration, but it isn't, so they do.

Tarver is a legend who's fought everyone possible at light heavy.

A lot worse guys got in.

Tarver's resume overall is quite impressive only fighting 31 times.

Tarver's wins crush Gatti's and everyone knows it.

Gatti is just a fan favorite.
