Everyone seems to forget about the Hopkins-Winky fight... Hopkins didnt look great, and Winky was fighting at 170...

Like I said this isnt a diss to Hopkins.. the man is 44 years old... I just dont think he could keep up with Williams, even at 168....

That doesnt mean I think Williams can RUN SMW or LHW right now... just against a 44 yr old man....
i just think if he can make a fight with calzaghe who is similar to williams in somes ways but better (handspeed, strength, angles etc) a close fight then he should be able to beat a much smaller williams who was already outdone by upper body movement (quintana). hopkins has been calling for the williams fight before he fought winky at 168, that shows me hopkins knows something that he'd like to exploit.

Im sorry but Williams is so much better since his loss to Quintana... you just cant use that fight anymore as "proof"...

And lets be honest, the judges had it a SD....

But JOE won that fight... Bernard just couldnt keep up in the later rounds..

AND YOU KNOW.. how I feel about Joe Calzaghe...

Calzaghe and Williams are nothing like but in ways they are...and they both have the styles to beat Hopkins.

Williams is not a slow..one dimennsional Pavlik.

And who thinks that? I haven't seen one person post that he would beat Hopkins. Hell, I've barely even seen some williams supporters saying he would beat Calzaghe because of the weight difference. But I know people like me who would be interested in a Calzaghe/Williams fight just for the fact they're both entertaining and throw over 1,000 punches.
