lol Of course Arum's still bitter. That slug lost money once Oscar got ambitious, and continues to lose money as Oscar stays ambitious. So of course he's gonna want to throw stones now that he's not gettin his precious pennies anymore.

He didn't say 160, he said "into the 160s", which means 168.

Why do so few people read the article properly? He didn't say 160.

It's just a ploy by Paul, so that when Hopkins turns down the offer, Paul's fans can claim another "duck".

If Williams was serious about fighting Hopkins he'd go to a catchweight of 170, just 2lbs north of 168 : The division Paul said he'd fight Calzaghe at.
So do you also think that if JMM is serious about fighting Floyd..
Then he should fight floyd at 147

5,600 turned out for the williams/wright fight? Pisses me off. Need to get these fights outside vegas. there was probably droves of people dying to see this live in other cities but no its all about the money. Vegas is good for the mega fights but having these sort of cards there is killing the mainstream publicity of the sport. Greed is turning boxing into a niche sport

He didn't say 160, he said "160's". Even so, Hopkins is the same size, with similar hand speed, more power, and far more experience. BHop would destroy PWill, but the fight won't happen anyway.

People will remember him over Floyd Mayweather for one reason: he fought everybody. Mayweather may be undefeated and more talented, but he didn't take on all comers. He didn't even challenge the best in his own division. ODLH fought pretty much everybody, win or lose, and they were mostly exciting fights.

Think back again, with the exception of Holyfield and maybe Tyson, what other fighter had you feeling that type of excitement in that era?Maybe Tito. Just admit it,like him or hate him,Oscar was the man.
the best fighters from flyweight to junior welterweight are not black fighters when manny pacquiao was around those weight classes. the PACMAN became the best because he beat the best in or around his weight class, does 3 LINEAL TITLES mean anything to you? dont compare the PACMAN from OSCAR. MANNY won all of his big fights(except 1st morales fight which was avenged by beating morales 2 times in their trilogy). your insinuations and assumptions the pacman are baseless.
