Paul actually asked Bhop to fight at 168 not 160, still Bhop warned him that he'd be biting off more than he could chew,.. gave paul some friendly advice to not to push it, or he might just have to punish the punisher...

True, but if Ol' Bob was satisfied by that he wouldn't be talking the way he is. What a class act Mr. Arum is; here's a guy that made millions for him and retires, and all he can do is try and tear him down.

People will remember him over Floyd Mayweather for one reason: he fought everybody. Mayweather may be undefeated and more talented, but he didn't take on all comers. He didn't even challenge the best in his own division. ODLH fought pretty much everybody, win or lose, and they were mostly exciting fights.
I agree completely. Oscar lost most of the "big fights", but the man did indeed fight everybody. Floyd Mayweather Jr. is a great fighter, but his fear of losing his undefeated record is holding him back. All the great ones lose, including the true greatest of all time, Sugar Ray Robinson. Sugar Ray Leonard lost, Tommy Hearns lost, they all did. Name a great fighter that didn't retire undefeated, who truly was a great fighter, that didn't lose. Rocky Marciano is the only name that comes to my mind that fits the bill, and disputably perhaps Joe Calzaghe, but the jury is still out on that one due to his lack of "prime" opponents and the late visit to America to prove it.

Nah, that's not being real, that's just plain hate. Few experts would call DLH an ATG, but he has done a lot for the sport. Why would Arum trash the guy upon his retirement? It's really not the time to say that kind of thing. That's like if Arum announced he was stepping down as a promoter because of his advanced age, and other promoter's come out saying he was nothing but a snake that prevented a lot of great fights from happening. It may be "real", but it's a ****ty time to say it.
