It was already proven that anyone with one hand can hurt Amir Khan before Prescott ever got in the ring with him. What else has he done? He looked awful against a really inexperience Abril on ESPN2 before that and after he couldn't hurt Humberto Toledo who had been previously stopped several times, including by feather fisted Lamont Peterson in one round. Prescott has scored three KOs in his entire career over guys who have posted winning records for their career. All his KOs have come against AWFUL competition that even mediocre prospects would be KOing left and right and against Khan who we know can't take anything clean. Prescott is garbage.

        I'll put 50k on Valero.

And I agree with the thread starter I think Prescott's power is overrated.

50 + 15 or so is enough for me. Thanks though. I just don't like Valero, he seems to have improved a bit in his last couple of fights. But ever since I saw him get warned about a hundred times for just holding his hand on the guys head, not throwing a single jab, while he tried to tee off with the left, and judging by the level of his opposition, I'm not impressed.

I wouldn't bet on Valero. I'd expect him to win, but not enough to bet on him. He is pretty untested. We don't know what is real with Valero yet. He could be Pacquiao 2 as some are saying, or he could be on Prescott's level. There isn't proof either way. I'd just be betting on gut instinct.

I thin his power is very good, it's just that he doesn't have much else going for him (other than height+reach, I suppose).

I had no idea that he was set to fight Valero, sounds like it'll be entertaining while it lasts.
