    I fully agree with this.

There is a massive double standard when it comes to the Heavyweight division. It is commonplace in boxing for fighters who have established themselves as the dominant champion in a division to move up and get a shot within a couple of fights.

If haye pulls off the upset he will look better then roy in my opinion. Wlad>Ruiz any day of the week. Roy doesn't have to worry though, I think Wlad will win comfortably.

That doesn't really have anything to do with the thread. What the guy is saying is the ppl crying that Haye hasn't earned his shot (i.e. Tunney and his fellow ****s) should STFU.

I know, but as a roy fan. Do you think if Haye wins against Wlad, that it kind of hurts Roys win over Ruiz or not at all? Roy did move up more in weight, but Ruiz isn't that great compared to Wlad. Despite Wlad having chin problems, he has still been a dominate champ compared to the likes of someone like Ruiz.

Yeah, other then the fact that Roy fought at 154 lbs, won titles in the next 3 weight classes... and THEN won a HW title... where Haye fought his entire career at 190+.

              But other then THAT.... sure.

Despite the fact you're biased and ignored the fact that everyone knows Ruiz is an ass of clown heavyweight and was also Ko'd by Tuas pinky finger.

You can't really compare the two... cruiserweight champions have gone up to become hw champions... Haye would be comparing his accomplishment more with Evander then with Roy.

Roys accomplishment isn't just a big deal because he beat John Ruiz, but because he came from Middleweight to do so...
