Ricky Hatton's sparring partners...

Hatton has been saying he had 6 sparring partners, and he would have 2 rounds with one partner, then they'd jump out and another would come straight in, also changing tactics as the spars swapped over.

Getting a few bruises from 10-12 straight rounds of boxing against a bigger guy in Lara, a light-welter and quick, tough smaller guys is pretty much to be expected.

Also, how can you judge his sparring when you have not seen how he performed? He could have inflicted more damage on his partners for all we know..

ye i think there was a report out too, that antillon won that grand...by knocking pac down by.......body shot....some i heard claim it was a slip....in pac's defense it was like his first sessions back in late march

no roach, and michael moorer truly believe hatton is shot...and is preparing for this bum, the way they talk about hatton, and i find it amazing how now roach is praising marquez these days....little hypocritical imo....i dont think miachel moorer is the guy to listen to on defense...he got ko'd by david tua in 30 secs...and big george.

roach has always praised marquez style of boxing... he even said that marquez's style is the hardest for pac. According to roach marquez is a great boxer but he's just a crybaby.

no roach has said he is not the same fighter, as he once was, and not as good....michael moorer has done nothing but disrespect hatton imo....like i said moorer was a bum imo...got a lucky decision against holyfield....and then in the rematch holyfield ko's him david tua ko's him and a washed up 46 yearold big geroge ko's that bum...but roach some how sees something in him.....and during the marquez rematch roach trashed on marquez...now he thinks hes terrific from the reports i've read

But the hype that you've been saying lately that Hatton's sparring partners are bigger than Manny's is apparently just a myth. Imagine if these small guys can do that much damage on Ricky with head gears on, imagine what Pacman can do to him? Last I heard, that Pacman guy ain't too shabby either, compared to Ricky's playmates when it comes to boxing...

Why does this statement ever get made? I mean we all know the triangle theory is bull**** but people are now desperate enough to play the triangle game with sparring partners!?

I advice hatton to get a better headgear... it's not good getting tagged all time in the face.

Very true, that's why mum is the word when it comes to Hatton's training camp, same with Pacquiao's, not unless were both privy to both parties' day-to-day affairs.

One irrefutable fact is, Roach's training method is proven by time. He knows what type of training camp Pacman needs, and he's basing it on Pacman's next victim, errr, opponent.

You haven't been keeping up with the threads lately, obviously, and I'm not that desperate. I am never that person who keeps comparing oranges and apples, but somebody here does. Just trying to rebut his case.

There's a difference between "not the same fighter" and "a shot fighter". Pac is not the same fighter when he was in featherweight that doesn't mean pac is shot.

whats up with all these michael moorer stuff? the guy had nothing to do with this? he is just there to assist he ain't even pac's trainer. When you say roach trashed marquez by calling him a crybaby? then yes... but roach never dissed marquez's boxing skills. fact!
