all of them are true I met with Golden Boy's matchmaker last week and he just sent Quintero to the camp.

who other than Antillon does Manny have in camp? I know that Linares was there but only briefly

Sky Sports in the UK will be doing a diary coverage of Hatton's training so far, next week, and so we should know more then.

For the record, though, Pac's sparring mates are no worse or no better than Hatton's, so yes, my criticisms were a little misguided.

Honestly aside from Antillon, Serrano and Rodela aren't really that good and they are usually the ones he spars with when he has a orthodox fighter to facr aside from the DLH sparring where he got taller fighters to spar with

overall the skillset favors Hatton's fighters. I have seen Mookie (who was DLH's sparring) Lara, Locke and Quintero and they are all solid fighters who will give Ricky good work and movement. Aside from Lara they all lock true punching power but I don't think thats what they need anyways.

Cool, thanks for that mate. Hopefully Ricky's sparring will pay dividends on May 2nd

I've seen guys spar nothing but amateurs and win world titles so it doesn't mean a thing.
I disagree pare. I feel that sparring partners make the biggest difference. That is why I think Manny has improved so much as well. He has sparred with the best. In the wild card gym, at least from what I have read, the objective is to try and knock Manny out for $1000. There will be a difference in your rhythm, timing, and defensive mindset if you spar with say, Rashad Halloway, as oppose to sparing with the guy you don't take as serious or is slower or less skilled. If you play with Micheal Jordan everyday your basketball skills will probably improve more than if you play basketball with Pacman everyday.

Erislandy Lara is a great guy to have sparring.

That makes more sense, instead of ****ing with the big boys like Lara!

i just read this post for the first time.....i dont think its a question of who has the better sparring partners, but how do roach and floyd, sr. use them.....so far i've only seen the 24/7 and i wasnt very impressed with the guys pac was using...i dont mean like there bad or anything, but roach has these guys coming in and covering up and letting pac just hit them on a regular basis....i think hatton will be more active then that...and hatton was bruised from one of his sparring sessions....thats either a good thing or a bad thing...hatton has brusied easily his whole carear.
