If Floyd wants to fight at 147, why not just fight a WW?

A Mosley fight is a huge risk, especially with a layoff
I can see Floyd dropping a few pounds rather than fighting Shane.

even an old shane is 50/50 to beat down floyd.

too bad young shane never got to fight floyd at 135......he'd have opened a can of whoop ass.

                      Disagree; no point.

What he should do is stay at 147 and tell other JrWW that show up by fight-time at 147+ to fight him at WW; along with any other WW that can come in at under 150. If they want, make sure to put a "cap" on how much weight you can be by fight-night. No sense in draining to much weight for a fight and risking rehydration problems or dieting and overtraining problems.

Floyd hasn't fought at 140 since Gatti in 2005 and will be off close to two years by his next fight. Inactivity kills let alone draining weight and dieting for a fight.

                      ..............................Other than the above:
I would like to see him end up fighting Cotto...maybe Mosley...Williams, I doubt he would fight...and of course Pac although I'm not sure how much credit he would get for knocking him out.

Even Freddie Roach thought a catch-weight between the JrWW and WW divisions would be enough to take something away from Floyd...so JrWW is a no-go.
