If Floyd wants to fight at 147, why not just fight a WW?

I would accept critisism for Floyd if it was consistant accross the board.
Juan Manuel Marquez was barely @ 135 a year ago and he was a small 135 pounder at that, an even smaller 140 pounder.. now you want him to move up all the way to 147 to fight Floyd? get tha **** outta here... Marquez ain't about to let anyone play him for their fool.

JMM is a great fighter. Great fighters can fight at higher weights and he called out Floyd so Floyd should be able to tell him where it's at. Just like Floyd did when he called out Oscar.

Floyd takes on Baldomir at 147 (even though everyone knew that Baldomir would come in weighing 154+), and u didnt hear a peep from the diehard Floyd fans. When the fans demand Floyd fight a legitimate WW such as Cotto, Marg, Mosley, etc.... All of a sudden Floyd fanatics start crying about how he's not a legit WW and shouldnt have to fight them. LOL...Amazing!

I think if he fought Ivan Calderon or Vic Darchinyan they would find a way to justify it.

marquez doesn't even look right at 135 yet he wants him to move up to 147.

floyd is just jealous of all the praise marquez is getting the last year. he also sees an easy mark because juanma is so much smaller and getting older.

marquez fought pacquiao , casamayor and diaz in a space of a year. that ****s on anything floyd has ever done pretty much.

This fight should be made at 140 or not at all. If May's final objective is the major showdown with Pacman there no point in not moving down. He can easily still make 140 since 147 is usually is walk around weight. If he doesn't plan to fight a legit WW after JMM then there is no point in making him come up 12 pounds other then to give Floyd yet another advantage.
