I never said that Floyd called Marquez out. It was Marquez who mentioned Floyd's name as a possible future opponent. According to several articles, Floyd is interested in the matchup, and has demanded that it take place at 147 if were to happen at all.

Do u really think that Marquez's intentions were to go all the way up to WW to face Floyd when he called him out? No. In boxing there's this thing called "negotiating". That's when 2 fighters get together and work out a deal (just in case u didnt know). Marquez is willing to go up to 140. If Floyd remains stubborn, then i guess this fight wont happen. Marquez has plenty of other options.

both floyd and marquez have options but they make more money if they fight each other at light weight.

jmm said if the floyd fight didn't go through he'd fight erik morales..... LOL I love morales, but he's shot... that fight proves nothing and is a really dumb fight.

floyd can fight anyone at 147-140... but none of those fight will make as much money as a fight with jmm.... and some of those fight are a lot more risky that a fight w/ jmm.

they both need to put their egos aside and fight at a catchweight

Some fans say that just like some fans say Antonio Margarito is innocent. What does that have to with Mayweather himself?

mark my letters...he's gonna fight some small fighter and then back to retirement.

and yes, he's a HOF but not because he face the best but because he chose easy fights.
Hatton wasn't an "easy" fight and anybody who thinks that doesn't know much about boxing.

LOL JMM managers statements are "proof" of what Mayweather wants to do? Please. Try again because you failed with that one. Until Mayweeather or his team make any statements about what Mayweather wants to do you have nothing.

It won't happen. At Mayweather's age he is not going to come back from a long lay off and fight at a weight he has not been in years.

I dont think ego is getting in Marquez way for this fight. He's already said he's willing to move up to 140 from 135 to make this happen. Floyd isnt willing to move thus far.
