Is anyone else tired of Hatton TALKING? What happened to "Humble Ricky"?

It's called self believe and promoting the fight. Plus let's face it Manny is pretty ****ing boring so theyre gonna focus more on Ricky in the lead up to the fight.

Nobody's arguing that he doesn't have self-belief or he's not promoting the fight. The argument is about Ricky talking about how humble he is, but is projecting quite the opposite everytime he opens his mouth.

This guy is a ham and there is nothing wrong with that, I think it's very entertaining. But please, spare us the "I'm a humble guy" routine.

Ricky Hatton loves himself, along with his tattoo, hats, t-shirts and anything else he could put his name on.

Just the way he dumped Billy Graham, his so called "father figure, long-time friend, best boxing buddy, teacher" left a sour note in my mouth. This is not a very down to earth guy. He is righteous, but he isn't right all the time.

I must admit, this has crossed my mind as well, but I do agree that he's trying at some level to sell the fight, and make a statement post-Mayweather Jr. KO. Manny's not going to say squat, so it's nice to see some spunk out of one of them....but Ricky must avoid becoming Apollo Creed.

The talk from everyone involved in this fight is tired by now, but as long as the fight is good the talk will be justified.

in all fairness I think a majority of pre fight trash talk gets tired, granted it is expected but it does tend to get very boring.

It's a big misconception that Hatton is a humble guy. This guy is so full of himself, he keeps bringing up "who brings the crowd in a match... everyone knows me in Vegas... Manny will be the outsider in Vegas...etc.,.".

Ricky loves fame and anybody who says that "I'm a humble guy" is already boasting about how humble he is.

Watch the 24/7 episode of his fight with Mayweather and you'll get a glimpse of how fake this guy is. A humble guy doesn't get personal with another fighter, he just keeps his mouth shut and lets his work do the talking. On his fight with Mayweather, he talked about Floyd, the person while Floyd kept his bashing limited to Ricky, the fighter and not the person. Ricky was going on about Floyd's personal relationships like it was his business. I believe this lost him the fight because it got into his head that Floyd is a "bad" person, therefore must be a "bad" boxer. Ricky is the "good" guy so he must be the "good" fighter and should win the fight. Wrong. Righteous fool.

Anybody who talks in the third person cannot be that humble. He is in love with himself and how people perceive his humility.

what made the show(Mayweather/Hatton 24/7) IMO obnoxious to watch was since Hatton talked about Mayweather so frikin much it's like were getting a double dose of Mayweather .. There's obviously Mayweather's portion of 24/7 being shown ... and then Ricky's half which mostly consisted of trash talking PBF. Hatton criticizing everything from Floyd's training (the hand pad routine "pitter patter, I hope he hits harder then that") the lack of fan base of Mayweather (he has 43 fans and I have 43,000) to even how Floyd spends his money ("look at me car, look at me watch")

is this something a "humble" guy would do? It's almost as if Hatton got caught up and went after Floyd like he was running against him for office rather then boxing him.

What is Hatton trying to prove by going on about how much of a "jerk" Floyd is?

because I dunno about you, but how Floyd trains, how big his fan base is or how he spends his money seems largely irrelevant to what Floyd brings to the table as a BOXER.
