Ricky Hatton runs five miles a day and he's only a third the height of Paul Williams so in real terms he runs fifteen miles.

Pro boxers will run on their roadwork, not jog. Running five miles a day in 40-50 minutes is good for the heart and lungs, the training would be complemented by anaerobic training and skill work.

In an amateur bout I'll run maybe two miles a day just to sweat off a couple of pounds but it's my interval and sprint training that gets me match ready.
