It is a business AND a sport. As I said, the competitive conditions are open to negotiation. Why get excited before anything has come to fruition...or fallen through?

Are you aware that Cotto (ahem, Arum) turned down a mayweather offer?

              Floyd turned down margarito.

How long have you been following the sport.
ppl dont know nothing about Mayweather. those are facts. and Mayweather was gonna move up in 1999 and fight Mosley but Mosley said no and a year later moved up to WW. then after Judah fight he tells Mosley lets fight again and Mosley says no.

I think so too. I'd love to see him fight Marquez at 140, but not above that. Ditto Pac. And if he wants to fight at 147, I want to see him fight a top Welterweight, which neither of those two are. And if he doesn't want to do that, then I wish he'd just stay retired.

Floyd is the biggest draw at 147. If JMM doesn't want to come to Floyd's weight of 147 he should keep Floyd Mayweather Jr.'s name out of his mouth.

I'd like to watch Marquez vs. Mayweather before the Pacman beats Mayweather in a match. JAT
