Marquez is a Hall of Famer and current pound-for-pound #2... He's a little more than a tune-up. In fact it's insulting to label him that

To me this fight is a mega fight, and it should be being pushed to get made

      Augustus,

Who did Floyd call out? Did he call out Pac? Or JMM?

I actually don't want to see this fight.

JMM is gonna lose man, and lose to an ******* who doesn't fight.

It's an unfair ending to what already is a nice story.

Leonard moved to 160 and fought Hagler.

You are applying a double standard.

PBF can make 140 theres no question in my mind. In fact, I would bet all my money he weighs under 160 TODAY just walking around, prob 155ish. I seriously doubt he could make 135, but a fight at 140 is fair for everyone especially since the winner would be fighting pac-hatton.

If PBF wants to fight at 147 he needs to man up and fight Shane Mosley there. Last I checked, Shane Mosley is free this summer. Plus that HBO date is open now that Bhop fight fell through. Make the ****ing fight Floyd.

Could Hagler have made a lower weight? NO
Did Hagler refuse to fight the guys in his division? NO

it's not as black and white as that, every case should be considered individually.

Marquez is a small lightweight for God's sake!

and don't play the hater card on me, i'm a huge Mayweather fan

Floyd want to be the bigger guy so he can run around and pop shot all night and Marquez won't want to bring the fight. This way Floyd will feel like he's one up on Pac because he handled JMM so easliy. Meanwhile the truth of it is is that JMM fought pac at 130. Floyd beating JMM at 147 won't mean **** to us hardcore fans. See but HBO and fighters like Floyd like to trick people into believing BS about him. If JMM vs PBF takes place at 147 it will be onesided for Mayweather. Most of the people that dish out money for PPV are'nt hardcore fans and they only follow the big names. These fans will act like Floyd is on some different level because he beat JMM so easliy. This will all happen just to set up Pac vs Floyd.

Question: why is 147 UNFAIR for Marquez. Do you think Floyd will be a different fighter, or a different SIZE fighter at 140 vs 147?

So, if Floyd wants to be the bigger guy, wouldn't it make sense for him to make the fight at lower weight?

When you want to fight smaller guys, you make the fight at a lower weight. Which is why fighters like Clottey, margarito, hatton, gatti do not move up.

What you are saying flies in the face of all logic.
