Jeff Lacy Decisions Otis Griffin, Roy Jones Jr. Next?

Lacy was KOing higher quality fighters than last night within 5 rounds for a few years before the Calzaghe fight. He's completely shot now, you can't take a sustained 12 round beating like he did against Calzaghe and expect it not to effect him. Pre Calzaghe he was much better, now he's more shot than Roy Jones.

Doesn't matter, Calzaghe beat Hopkins, Jones Jr, Eubank, prime-sheika, prime-reid, Bika, Kessler, veit. Calzaghe still has a good resume even if you want to hate on him because he is italian warrior. Calzaghe takes fighters 0's and never gets credit from people like you. Jeff Lacy was being hyped up by people like you from florida before Calzaghe whupped his ass.

I'm still utterly stunned at how the names are lining up to put yet another beat down on Lacy time and time again.

I thought poorly of Taylor doing and now Jones. They are better then that, and don't need to go beating a guy like Lacy, whom though a goodish fighter, he's still less of a name and fighter by a long stretch.

Stop this madness once and for all. I thought better of Jones, what can he possibly get from this. He will not dominate him more than Calzaghe did, and probably not even Taylor. So on the latter in particular, it'd make him look bad.

ummm dude I didn't watch the fight, I didn't care too. I NEVER liked the guy who was "scared of flying" or "didn't want to leave his back yard" for 10+ years Joe Calzaghe (yet I give him credit for what he's accomplished) and I NEVER cared for JEFF "MINI MIKE"/"LEFT HOOK" LACY. NEVER was a fan..... The TV/PRESS (not ONLY in a America) over hyped the guy...

Again its the Calzaghe fans that want to praise the guy. But for what? Yes Calzaghe whooped that a$$ but so has every other fighter..... Joe WHOPPED Peter Manfredo's ass...... and..... Lacy is no different. The dude isn't the worst fighter ever but come on what do people expect??.....

Props to Calzaghe for beating him. It made his name in the US... I guess..

I was there in attendance. Griffin was very game and should have walked away with a draw. Lacy was pretty avg at best just like he has been in every fight since Calzaghe. I am very disappointed and it's going to be hard to continue to support Lacy....He's not even fun and exciting to watch anymore. Roy will easily box circles around him and maybe even stop him.....And Roy himself is pretty avg at this point in his career IMO. I'm sad but it's over I have no hope left for Lacy.

I hear ya BUT to Florida fans (im not one of them) this would be a BIG fight. I know EVERYONE else MUST suffer but in Florida this would be "big". Kind of like the Tarver Jones... one from Pensacola and the other from Tampa.... Its big money down here, plus it keeps there homtown fans happy....

But I feel ya, its dumb but it'll make headlines. Plus Adamek might take the bait and call Jones out (again).
