Some Italian warrior, not even from Italy. LOL.
So if a boxer of Brazilian descent who was born in America has a nickname the Brazilian Bomber, does that make him a fraud too?

He has been retired for near 6 months and he still has entire threads full of 11 pages of posts dedicated to him, funny but I'm seeing flaws in your assumptions thus far!

      • I will tell them about his cult following in the states by a group known as the '******s' that would spend all the time they were allowed in an internet forum babbling almost spastic like negativity about this great champion, before being restrained and put in a corner where they would **** their heads against the wall ,crying and grumbling about something called a,'dowdaggy reddoobay'.Tragic.

It doesn't make him a fraud. Just a questionable nickname. For someone who was born in America, lives in America, fights in America, makes American dollars, speaks English, votes for American leaders... there's more American about him than Brazilian. But to each his own I guess.

I am just saying that a person has the right to have pride in their heritage regardless of where they live, being Brazilian was just an example.

No doubt. It's just a little odd for a dude who eats, breathes, sleeps Wales, born in London, Welsh mother, he's in the order of the british empire. I mean really what's Italian about this dude besides his father's side of the family? Should just be the Welsh warrior.

                • I was born in America and have both Italian and British heritages. I like my Italian heritage alot

Italian foods are also probably some of the best food people can have, puertorican, mexican food is good aswell.

                  • A champion with great management who wanted more love/recognition than Ricky Hatton from the British crowd yet only wore the Welsh/Italian flag/colours and only had the Welsh national anthem sang at his fights.

                    • Well ''at the end of the day'' and ''listen'' would surely have to be included. In all honesty though, he's just been a very good fighter. He is not going to be the first person you mention when talking about great fighters from the past.
