That's news to all of us
    Olympic glory is overrated.

    He's a boxer by default.
He's actually a slugger who had a ridiculously predictable movement.
His M/O was never about out boxing a guy

Stand and trade, hope his left hook lands 1st.
    Yeah, I know, Ali.....1 out of 3.
Probably the least troublesome HOF of the bunch when matched against future HWs.
Easily timed 'bobbing and weaving'' out of the shell just before launching the left hook.

    Just MHO.

      A strange comparison.
This is why Old George > Old Ali.
Young George fought most of Ali's guys and destroyed them.....easier.
      Ali took time off.
      George really took time off.

Neither versions are the ones worth bragging about.

90s had great depth but there's a lot of mythology about the era. The best didn't fight each other.

Tyson had some big fights but he was largely cooked already.

Holyfield v Bowe was it. The others were made well past prime.

You could argue the current era has produced more in terms of the best fighting each other in their prime (Wilder v Fury and Usyk v Joshua).
