Klitschko was in training for a while. He was scheduled to fight on the undercard of Lewis-Johnson so when Johnson pulled out Vitali was bumped up to the main event to face Lewis
Vitali had also been training to fight Cedric Boswel

Some people can't deal with facts

You're wasting your time presenting facts to Klitschko fans. They hate facts.

Technically it was short notice being Vitali wasn't training to fight Lewis anyway

All anyone remembers is he almost beat Lewis and got stopped on cuts. Who really sits and thinks about who he could've or would've been fighting? It's irrelevant.

According to Vitali fans, he was winning and would've won if the fight hadn't been stop.

I say if the fight hadn't been stopped, he would've been KTFO and we wouldn't have to hear this "granite chin" stuff.

Ehhhh, I'm not sure about that. Lewis got hit with some serious shots and Vitali kept coming regardless of his eye. He was getting hit but seemed to take it better than Lewis did. I don't think Lewis was upset at all the fight ending the way it did.

I am pretty sure that if the fight had gone on that Vitali would have gotten hit with a shot that he never saw coming...he would have gone quietly to sleep.

Bottom line. Gr8 action fight for HW's. VK fought his ass off and showed heart, but he lost a TKO by cut. The end. Why is this **** such a big issue lately?

Lewis turned down 40 million for a rematch.

                    'nuff said really
