I was really looking forward to Ortiz-Kotelnic. Then Khan comes along and steals the fight.

Well duh, I think that's the whole point he said it. I mean he said it just a day before this was announced. Obviously trying to take a pop at him, and play mind-games.

      Come on now

        dam WTF?

Im a Khan fan, but in noo way, shap or form, he deserves thta title shot. I mean, how a lightweight half ass contender gets a title shot at JWW. Thats ****ing ridiculous.

Damn it. I was looking forward for Ortiz-Kotelnik

tell me about it. Ortiz deserves the shot. He's been fighting on undercards and proving himself against better and better comp.

Yeah Khan TKOed him in the ams, But from what I heard Khan hit him with a good shot, buckled him, and the fight was stopped. I think it is fair to assume that in a professional fight Ortiz would stomp him.

Men this is BS. Ortiz deserved that shot. what the full can have done, to get a belt, let alone at JWW. And by the way the fight will be borig do to styles. Ortiz-Kotelnik looked more promissing!!!!!!!!!!!!!

actually I don't think it's fair to say that at all. what's fair, is to say that we dunno what will happen if they fight.

                  on another subject...

if you were kotelnik who would you rather fight, a chinny lightweight for fame and money or a seemingly monstrous ortiz for semi-fame and less money?

                  the answer is obvious.

I define World-class a being pound-for-pound material. 140 is at least equal to 135 in terms of talent. Now you could argue that there is talent down at 130 that will eventually move to 135, thus making it a stronger division, but at the moment that isn't the case.
i apologise mate, my mistake. but khan hasn;t moved up to fight p4p or becasue he too big, he's moved up becaseu he was struggling to find someone who he could beat.....IMO

you never know dude..you never know..khan is unpredictable but impressive and ortiz is also hot **** but once you have beaten a fighter and ko'd him like khan did ortiz it holds alot of psycological advantage the next time round..no one wants to fight somone who ko'd them before head guard on or not.
