true to some extent....i'm not saying hatton deserves on that list...but he was the lineal jr. wleter at the time and was untouchable in that weight class, and floyd took him to school....i think its a great win imo for floyd....and castillo was a great fighter in his prime as well and floyd fought him in his prime....i think if a guy fights really good fighters those wins are great wins in my eyes
Since the start of the 90s so few fighters have more than one or two great wins

maybe you should think about some of the things in your list in relation to what i've marked in red.
Roy Jones: James Toney, Bernard Hopkins (he did fight and win against b-hop), Antonio Tarver (how could you give this win to b-hop and not to jones who beat him first), Virgil Hill
Bernard Hopkins: Felix Trinidad, De La Hoya, Antonio Tarver, Winky Wright
James Toney: None
Oscar De La Hoya: None, Pernell Whitiker (not in his prime i know but he was good enough to have most observers believing he was up by a few points by the twelve .)
Winky Wright: Felix Trinidad (i don't think you could consider Felix in his prime for that fight and if you do than give jones that win against Felix as well.) , Shane Mosley twice
Shane Mosley: De La Hoya twice
Felix Trinidad: De la Hoya
Floyd Mayweather: Hatton, De la Hoya
Marco Antonio Barrera: Erik Morales twice, *Naseem Hamed (how was he a great?)
Erik Morales: Marco Antonio Barrera, Manny Pacquiao
Manny Pacquiao: Marco Antonio Barrera first fight, Juan Manuel Marquez, De la Hoya (i think he over trained i don't think he's done)
Juan Manuel Marquez: Marco Antonio Barrera
Joe Calzaghe: NoneComment

Oscar De La Hoya: None

Marco Antonio Barrera: Erik Morales twice, Naseem Hamed

I am only including wins against great fighters not wins that could be deemed great for other reasonsComment

Great post,Floyd aint beat no prime time great, the best fighter on his resume was an old DLH,it was clear,by that fight against Collazo,Hatton had no buisness fighting at 147!!Calzaghe did not beat a great PRIME fighter either!!I get ur point on trying to emphesize great fighters in their prime!!Not past his prime,or a decent fighter, who is far from great!!Comment

I didn't call it a great win. Re read my initial post. Do you think it is a coincedence that the reason we have heard of these fighters is because they are great fighters?Comment
