Since the start of the 90s so few fighters have more than one or two great wins

Looking at all the fighters of this generation so few have more than one or two wins against truly great fighters who were in their primes at the time of the fight

Roy Jones: James Toney, Antonio Tarver

Bernard Hopkins: Felix Trinidad, De La Hoya, Antonio Tarver, Winky Wright

    James Toney: None

    Oscar De La Hoya: None

Winky Wright: Felix Trinidad, Shane Mosley twice

Shane Mosley: De La Hoya twice

    Felix Trinidad: De la Hoya

    Floyd Mayweather: None

Marco Antonio Barrera: Erik Morales twice, Naseem Hamed

Erik Morales: Marco Antonio Barrera, Manny Pacquiao

Manny Pacquiao: Marco Antonio Barrera first fight, Juan Manuel Marquez

Juan Manuel Marquez: Marco Antonio Barrera

    Joe Calzaghe: None

I am only including wins against great fighters not wins that could be deemed great for other reasons

It is true. He may have great wins but none are against truly great fighters in their prime

He said he was considering great wins against great fighters in their prime. How many of those would you say Joe has?

Maybe its cos if a fighter loses then people say he is shot or not very good, so its basically impossible to beat a great prime fighter.

Unless you are american of course.

pretty much agree with the list, except for Mayweather, come on now, he has had good wins.

Okay well I am going on whether someone has a win in the official record books. The first man to beat Roy Jones is surely great but if that is your opinion fair enough

The question is what great fighter in their prime did Joe beat? In all honesty I am not hating.

The answer is none. He has two great fighters on his list - Roy and Hopkins - and neither were in their prime when Joe beat them. That is end of story.
