Calzaghe deserved a UD for raping Hopkins in round 9. Best part of the fight.

I'm not quite sure watching a man pretend to have sex with another is the best part of anything but hey, whatever floats your boat.

Bernard Hopkins was, what, 43yrs old? He was in a no-lose situation going in, especially coming off his worst performance in years. That he arguably won the fight is an even bigger bonus.

He spoke the truth. Calzaghe didn't land and B-Hop wasn't active enough.

It wasn't that entertaining and Calzaghe slappin, B-Hop's holdin (He kind of overused it a bit) didn't help the fight much. I had it 114-113 B-Hop. I didn't see it as a lose for B-Hop and I don't think it affected his legacy at all, dude was 43

It was a close fight, much closer than the judges' scores reflected.

I'm one of very few who found the fight to be somewhat entertaining. The contrast in styles, and watching each man adapt to the other was entertaining to me.

Hopkins controlled the fight for the first 5 rounds, Joe did what he always does, and adjusted, Hopkins started to have stamina issues and clinched much more than he should have, while Joe was swinging wildly and missing.

Both men looked like **** that night.

But the fight didn't have any negative effects on either man's legacy, due to the fact that both men dominated in their very next fight. Calzaghe won 11 rounds and completely embarassed Roy Jones, while Hopkins went on to dominate and embarass Kelly Pavlik.

I don't think anybody could say that it did.
