    As for Anti-British.

I'm from Britain, but unlike half the uneducated idiots here, i dont look at race or background, it's pathetic and sad.

Joe ended up worse after this bout. Was obvious Hopkins would own Calzaghe Prime v Prime. He could have made the move to the states years ago to fact these guys Prime v Prime. Why wait till Hopkins and RJJ are at the combined age of 83?

Pathetic, but nowhere near half as bad as his sad fans.
Reverted to type then? Never mind, mummy and daddy are coming to see you today.Isnt that nice!!!

The only thing that fight did was cement Calzaghe's reputation as an epic slapper. It also proved that Hopkins would have annihilated Calslappy in his prime.

Didn't hurt him but certainly the win would've boosted him way up in p4p's and would've looked great on his resume.

that fight basically derailed all of calzaghe's career momentum and zapped all his confidence that he had built with the lacy and kessler wins. he actually thought he was one of the best but then his inabilty to hit an old man brought him back to reality. his loss/win vs hopkins destroyed his brain so much he thought the year was 1996 and he had just landed a superfight with the pound for pound best roy jones jr.

Bhop lost a world title and got anotha L on his record. Joe C won a world title and got a legendary name on his res. Close, disputed, older version of Bhop, whatever, it's still the biggest name on his res. Long term, Joe C gained sumthin, but Bhop didn't really lose anything. To this day, RJ remains the only guy to truly defeat him.
