I loved Diego but he had problems with not only technical fighters(Mayweather, Corrales) but he also had a lot of trouble with Combo punchers(Clotty, Castillo) and Marquez is both combined. I say this fight plays out like Dias vs Marquez. Corrales takes well contested early rounds, Marquez adjusts in the middle rounds, and Marquez finishes Diego late in the fight.

Yes to everything you said except the stoppage..............Chico doesnt fight tall hes gonna get countered all day i dont think JMM can finish him though.

This is a good fight. I don't think JMM has enuf pop as a LW to finish Chico tho. I could see JMM gettin a tough UD, 8-4 or 7-5. Not outta the question for Chico to stop him tho. If JMM went to war like he's been doin lately, Chico would take him out.

Hmmmmm......I don't know, that's a tough call. JMM hasn't fought anyone at LW with Diego's power though.

I don't know guys JMM seems to have gained tons of power since moving up and has Knocked out two guys that have never been Knocked out in their careers and these wern't tomato can's either. They were top 30 PFP boxers and top 5 Lightweights.

And yes the fight would take place at lightweight if that helps.

I think today's JMM would get hit too much and ultimately sparked by a 135 corrales.

To be honest I think a prime Corrales blows him out of there. As good as JMM is he does get hit and that is not something you want to do against a prime Chico.
