well i dont like how some look at race in the first place when it comes to boxing.....i HATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the Klitschko's and Povetkin's of the world....and i'm white...people that bring up the "race card" are wankers because they can't use a rational train of thought imo.....boxing is supposed to help due away with racism, so i thought....also...

Well obviously. People need to think these things through, though. Blacks, ***s, Micks(me), middle easterners, etc. have all had to deal with racism at some point. Its not okay to "give it back", someone has to set the standard.

you're assuming that those who are chosen by affirmative action are inferior to their white counterpart?

just cause a minority gets an opportunity based on affirmative action doesn't mean he/she doesn't deserve it as much as the white person who didn't get the opportunity. besides... there are many ********** competing for that spot. white persons should compete for the spots available to them.

even if you take a resume from a white person and a minority and remove the name and picture (suppose a picture is included), most people can tell which one is the white persons and which one is the minority by the racial markers in the resumes.

lets say each has the name of their high school on their resume. all you have to do is look up that high school and if its an inner-city highschool you know he/she is most likely a minority and if its a suburban highschool you know he/she is most likely a white person. based on such racial markers people will be able to discriminate.

By that bankrupt reasoning we might as well go back to separate water fountains. The idea is inherently (as you just showed) meant to divide.
Its a racist idea meant to play races against each other while the white oligarchy laughs from above.
Why dont we just simplify the whole process and go with the merit system? You know, where who ever is the best qualified and uses their natural ability gets the job?
***** without affirmative action would not be president...he was by all accounts an average student that got a lot of help from "whitey" on the way up.
