I haven't had a chance to watch Yuri train yet but I will next Tuesday at the open workout in Brooklyn. I should know more by then.

Here are the three points I have in my head:

        1) Yuri Foreman has never fought anyone on the class and accomplishment level of Miguel Cotto. Even though he beat Daniel Santos, it was against a Santos that was coming off a long gap of inactivity.

        2) Miguel Cotto is coming off a terrible beating at the hands of Pacquiao and had a lot of trouble dealing with the speed and movement of Pacquiao. Foreman's movement is a lot different from Pacquiao's but he can be a nightmare for a plodding Cotto.

        3) Foreman is much bigger than Cotto. Cotto started at 140, Foreman is bursting out of junior-middleweight.

I thought Williams over Winky was a pretty easy prediction. I kinda figured especially after the long layoff, Williams high work rate would be on display the entire fight.

As for Williams-Foreman. I can definitely see Foreman winning and see this as a 50-50 fight. The Sergio fight was close because Sergio still traded with Williams which is dangerous which would know Foreman wouldn't do. I think Foreman could dance around all night dodging Williams punches if Williams was his normal aggressive self. But I think if he used his range right, he could probably smoke Foreman out of there.

I wouldn't compare Cotto-Pac to Cotto-Foreman at all. You mentioned in 2 different paragraphs that Foreman is bigger, and then Pac was too quick for him. The main reason I believe for Pac schooling Cotto is that Pac was too fast AND most importantly too small. He was so small and moving so fast Cotto couldn't see **** coming. But Foreman he'll be able to chase and see coming. As you said Foreman hasn't been against anybody like Cotto which is where i base my pick on Cotto winning, even stopping Foreman.

Body punching will be a factor here as I see Cotto hammering at the body all night and we'll see how Foreman deals with that and if he durable for that. If he is I still see Cotto taking a decision but I think Cotto will wear him down and stop him. Cotto usually does well with good boxers(see the Paulie fight & Judah, even the quintana fight) All defensive minded boxers who Cotto destroyed. Especially with Manny in his corner I think Cotto definitely has the tools to take this fight. he seems motivated and I just can't bet against him, especially since Foreman doesn't have the power. If Pacman was feather fisted, Cotto would have had a better shot because I don't think he would have been discouraged as he was. I think he could dig deep down even if he was losing to Foreman just because Foreman isn't hurting him.

          Nice calls though.

I wanna see how Foreman performs under the lights at yankee stadium. But he definitely has the style to beat Williams.

The only morons underrating Yuri on this website are the Cotto haters. They want to rub it in like jack asses if Yuri beats Cotto. Yet, they are the same haters claiming Cotto is going to destroy Yuri... I hate the ****ing morons on this website, there are alot of good posters though, but I hate the morons.

What people underrate about Foreman is his punching power. He has a little pop in that right hand, which is why you don't just see people running in on him like you do Paulie Malignaggi. He just doesn't have knockouts because he doesn't fight for the KO.

Williams is a fighter that gets out of position a lot when he throws punches. Foreman is a guy that is quick enough to get in and then get out in time to avoid the reprisal of Williams.

Foreman is definitely a difficult style for Cotto since Cotto hasn't been boxing on his toes in a long time. It seems that ever since he moved up to welterweight he has stopped boxing and has been plodding in flat-footed trying to knock everyone out. Against a much bigger Foreman that just won't work.

This guy needs his head examined. Williams might not be the most beloved fighter on this site, but he would never lose to that scrub.
