JMM was aggressive and also very busy, unlike Floyd.

Cotto is a little static compared to Pac. I think too easy for Floyd to counter and out manouvre.

    Difficult choice.
Same reason why I say Pac. Because of his workrate, he doesn't get tired, is a south paw (Shoulder roll ain't gonna work) his speed can match Floyd's speed and he is quick on his feet, not just to dash in but to move side to side. He is pretty much all over the place and he can sneak in the left straight just as well as anybody

It was weird hearing that because Cotto isn't nearly as accomplished as Pacquaio. It seems to me that Floyd would get more credit beating Cotto because of the simple fact that Cotto is bigger? and I've said it before Mayweather and Pac are closer in size then Mayweather and Cotto but here is my question...

Who would put up a better challenge against Floyd Mayweather Cotto or Pacquaio? Miguel Cotto's problem is his stamina and the uppercut is his weakness (Which wouldn't matter because Floyd rarely throws em) Cotto is a really good brawler but I'll say Floyd has seen better (JLC) and Cotto can box (Which will be suicide against Floyd)

Now Pacquaio's problem is more to do with his balance and his right hook es busura (No offense). His balance is a major problem, if it wasn't we wouldn't be debating as to who won between JMM and Pacquaio 1st and 2nd fight (Which in my opinion, Pac lost both fights) Pacquaio would always get off balance and JMM would always capitalize in those situations. Paquaio doesn't have that many weaknesses

Now, I'll talk about how good they are. Cotto has good speed and great timing to go with it. He pretty much has the best body attack in boxing right now but really...and I'm being honest, I don't see him giving Floyd that much problems. His boxing abilities aren't gonna help him and he'll have to resort to brawling (Something Floyd has seen way too many times before) I have a feeling Floyd would easily throw him off his game and yes, I'm talking about elbows and forearms in his face

Pacquaio is considered to be faster then Floyd (Which I disagree) and has really good workrate and unlike Cotto, Pacquaio isn't gonna get tired. Plus Pacquaio is a south paw...I really don't know how Mayweather will face the guy. Mayweather has never faced an opponent like Pac, the only fighter that comes close is Zab Judah and we all know Zab Judah is NOTHING like Pac. Pacquaio has really good footwork and provides angles. Reason why I believe Pacquaio would put up a better challenge

So I ask, who would put up a better challenge against Floyd Mayweather Cotto or Pacquaio? Please discuss
I think Pacquiao is a better match up and more exciting fight. Floyd doesn't have much trouble with power oriented guys, he has problems when people can beat him to the punch. Cotto isn't going to beat him to the punch and wont make it an exciting fight because he wont be able to fight his fight. Pacquiao would be able to pursue Floyd even if Floyd tries to pot shot, thus making an exciting fight from 1 to 12.

Also, Zab is exactly like Pacquiao. The only difference(non-racial or body-wise), is that Pacquiao has a brain. Which is basically what you said anyways. However, they are exactly alike.

Cotto is the tougher opponent based on his size, power and his multifaceted approach.

Both Cotto and Pac would give Floyd problems. Floyd likes to fight at his pace and work off of others mistakes. Both Cotto and Pac could impose their pace on Floyd and make him come out of his defensive shell and fight. While I think Mayweather could handle Pac, Cotto size and power would be too much for Floyd. Cotto is the much tougher fight and the one Floyd doesn't want because he would most likely lose.

Pac will beat Cotto easy. And Pac is the one who can beat PBF. Pac has a better resume than Floyd after Pac KOes Hatton in less than 5 rds.

Just looks at the common opponent in DLH. Pac just Dominates DLH while PBF just got the Boring SD. PBF takes 10 rds to finish Hatton, Pac will do it in 5.

Stylewise PBF will give Pac Problems. Pac might lose one in a trilogy. But the latest Pac is a Much better strategist. Pac is showing new moves & never lost a rd in 2 fights against bigger guys. Gym war news indicates that Pac is on his Peak. I'm getting confident that Pac will beat PBF convincingly.

I think cotto. First you say cotto gets tired well he wont have to fight at the same pace he fought margarito at which is moving most the time and hitting. Itll be a much different pace and he wont be getting hit with plaster which will make him drain his energy. It wont be at the mosley pace either cause mosley they would throw more punches. I think both would give him problems pac because of his speed and his warrior mentality cotto could bully him more also got great timing and body work also cotto isnt that slow either he was beating sugar shane to the punch. In my opinion both can beat floyd butFloyd could win it also.
