It's either he knocks them out or he gets knocked out kinda attitude. As Manny moved up in weight, he found out that his opponents are more resilient to his power punches that carries heavier guns. He tried to be unpredictable by developing his non-existent right hand for his predictable offense and started using his quickness more for his defense. He found out to his delight that it was a much better proposition for him to punch and get nothing, or at least minimal in return. It was more fun, and I don't blame him...
great analysis....i;ve been saying pac has this heavyweight attitude, which could get him in trouble here...i jsut dont seem him avoiding hatton...like he might be good for awhile...but if it gets later and later i nthe fight...i see it more adaptable to hatton's style....pac needs to ko him early...thats why roach is saying this stuff...because i think he doesnt want to get into a "grind it out" fight for 12 rounds with hatton...and i see it going that route if it goes past 6....i just dont see a better equiped david diaz in there through 9 rounds....but true about pac's right hand

Hatton's offense is his defense, He crowds you and gives you little space to get off, That is enough to put off paq who is not the biggest thinker in there.

pretty much agree with you there but Pacquiao can go to a controlled aggression mode, Hatton just comes forward basically ....with a good body punch if he had a chin like Castillo or Margarito ......it would be a nightmare for pac.

He might not be the biggest thinker out there, but he's a quick learner and adopts faster than his previous witty opponents. You'll find most of Pacquiao's victims ending up in the hall of fame, and there's also a notion that they're better thinkers than Pacman...
