In my opinion Antonio "The Tijuana Tramposo" Margacheato, should be Banned for life. I do respect the opinion of others that say it should be only a year.

What i still can't stand are those that say the he didn't cheat.

That is just plain ******

All these news and forums, even if they don't provide anything new, are good because it helps put pressure to whatever authorities is responsible to finished this once and for all.

What i mean by this is that a serious criminal investigation need to be put in place, to find out, not only how ridiculous is Margarito by saying he didn't now what was in his hands but to pressure on everybody involve to come forward and speak whether or not this was done in the past and against which boxers.

When you are at risk of loosing you freedom because of a criminal charges wouldn't you think you would speek up.

I'm taking for example Capetillo. If some investigator or prosecutors come at him with a 5 year in prison charges he will start singing like Celine Dion. And if you are good prosecutor you lower he sentence probably to 1 year on the street if he say's against which other fighter it was used, who else new about it, and which other fighters he has done this with.

By giving him a 1 year bann from USA he won't talk. Hell if i'm Margarito i would still be giving him a monthly paycheck for his silence and plus Capetillo is still working in the ring in Mexico and that's something he can live with . Hell he did so a couple of weeks ago. But if you threaten him to take all of that plus his freedom away with some criminal charges he will tell the truth and that's the only way that we will know if Cotto and some others had been cheated by the The Cheater and Disgrace of Mexican People and their Great Boxing Warriors, Antonio "The Tijuana Tramposo" Margacheato

Interesting point that the supervising Deputy Attorney Karen Chappelle tried to introduce some photos of Marg's wraps after the Cotto fight saying that they looked 'similar in appearance to the pads in question'.

I was both a Marg and Cotto fan.

Marg is now dead to me as a boxer. He has tarnished his ENTIRE career. No HOF. No legit undoubtable victories. Nothing.

Goodbye Antonio Margarito. You are no sportsman.

Of course not don't be dumb. I think a year suspension should teach anyone a lesson. Even if he fights again, there will always be a dark cloud over him for the rest of his career.

It's straight up ****** to say he didn't cheat only because he got caught before he went into the ring. Regardless the piece of **** was planning to
go in there with the plaster and try to hurt Mosely.

Nothing new here. Although I think banning him everywhere is a stretch since there is no proof that he cheated in ANY of his fights. Yes, he ATTEMPTED to cheat against Mosley and that should be reason enough to suspend him, but a global life-time ban? I don't think so.

One year suspension is the equivalent to a one fight suspension which is nothing but a slap on the wrist and ridiculous considering the intent and possible damage.

Agreed, one year ban is justified. Lifetime is ridiculous.

One year is ok? I suppose if they found a man in your mothers house with a blood stained knife, just before he enters her room but never got in because he got caught....it would be ok to give him one year because the blood on the knife wasn't hers and he never really did anything, would be ok.
