What a joke. First of all, of course this loud mouth ****ney on Setanta
is going to bend the truth to defend another loud mouthed ****ney.
Boo Hoo Cry Me A River Hayebitch, this moron has done NOTHING
to earn this fight, so what does he expect? At least you can say
Gomez earned his shot. Not Haye though. He's just a big ego
with an even bigger mouth.

the K sisters know that Haye is a threat to them that's why they've taken every precaution to make sure they cash in on the fights w/ Haye and make sure at every opportunity to get the first crack at Haye if he beats them.
the K sisters know that this fight is what boxing wants. so in a sense it is a mandated fight. it will be a fight for the people's champ.
the K sisters do have most of the negotiating leverage, but so did DLH and he never tried the type of bull*****. For instance, DLH atleast gave Pac a 70-30 split of the HBO money and DLH never dipped into the money made in the philipines. What the K sisters have done is the worse example of greed and this is why a lot of people did not want the K sisters to have the belts because they would take the belts to Germany and hold them hostage there.
There are ethics in business. its exactly the kind of attitude that says that business and ethics have no relation that there is a global recession.
the K sisters are cowardly and greedy. They try and make a good guy image for themselves but this contract with Haye shows their true colors as villians and bullies.Last edited by Pullcounter; 04-04-2009, 12:41 PM.

He's pretty much saying that the Klitschkos are what they wish to emulate. K2's is the door Hayemaker is knocking on in more ways than one. They want in on the action. Christ, Haye was even looking up at Vitali with puppy dog eyes that night, like "look what I just did!", like he wanted approval from his daddy. The whole thing is pretty cute, really.
So Haye wouldn't be as ruthless and determined to eke out whatever edge he could if the roles were reversed? Everybody conveniently forgot the allegations of ****ty, unprofessional treatment at the hands of Hayemaker Promotions made by Monte Barrett?

And I just find the idea that Haye is a selfless paragon of virtue in this risible. He had no choice but to sign, he doesn't have anywhere else to go, he has specific personal interests in coming to the division. He isn't in a contender mindstate, hungry to fight whoever's put in front of him, one fight at a time.
If people put themselves in Klitschko shoes, it's easy to see why they're looking at it with a cynical eye. They have no reason to respect him or do him any favors. They have every reason to guard their own interests, knowing they have what Haye wants.
If Haye does as he says he's gonna do and bombs Wlad the fuck out, then he's got power of his own. Who was he going to fight after Wlad? Likely Wlad rematch, if Wlad insisted. Then his other stated target, the elder brother. Unless he was gonna fight one of those "plodding little fat men". Or retire straight away.

The Calzaghe/Hatton situations aren't exact parallels of each other or this situation. There are nuances. But there was a certain sense of relative parity between the camps in both those you mentioned. Realistically, there is no parity between the Hayemaker and K2 camps.
But, whatever. If Haye doesn't deliver something really hott at the end of this, Wlad will get small credit for KO'ing him and all this uproar and polemic over a contract will look ridiculous in that context. People just need to enjoy themselves and look forward to the fight.

LOL I crammed all my **** into one post exactly because I can't be arsed to go round repeating the same stuff ad nauseum in every thread or making 50+ posts every day like so many do. I defend any fighters I think are getting unwarranted crap. Bored of the partylines is all.

Hi, Ray. Way I see it is, if he already had the profile to match his ambition, more pressure would be on the Klits in all senses. But Haye doesn't have a Hatton/Calzaghe status...yet. Hardcore boxing fans are desperate for some excitement, so they're pinning their hopes on this guy. Haye desperately wants to shortcut his way to a shot, and the K2Klan can and will hold him to ransom, knowing how the event could make sense and knowing that Haye is desperate enough to meet whatever terms they put in front of him. He still gets his best payday.

Surrrrrrrrrrre, my 600+ posts since December have really taken up more bandwidth than the ****eloads of spam posted by halfwit ****s like you. Whatever you say.
Your beef is, somebody just presented an alternative to your crumby agenda, and did it with reason. You read every word diligently and twisted your ugly face up in a bitter little frown, or else you wouldn't even have quoted it to claim you didn't read.

But Haye will still make his biggest ever purse, of several million. And he's not yet done much at heavyweight, so I don't think he can complain too much on that score. He was screwed on the rematch clauses though, but it was a voluntary defence and the Klitschkos held all the bargaining chips.Last edited by Dave Rado; 04-04-2009, 03:19 PM.
