thats a good point man the win over monte barret was a good win - not a great win but a good one. it said that heres david haye and he can mix it with a good HW fighter.

now david imo should have taken a few more fights he should have taken on someone like tony thompson (another good fighter like barret, southpaw, good jab, v. tall) or toney, someone who would have forced him to think when he is in the ring. then he should have taken on someone like povetkin or dimitrenko, fighters who fight alot like the klits.

if haye had done all this (and done it impressively) then he would have placed himself as the no.1 contender and a bout with vitali or vlad would have been alot more financially lucrative for him.

but haye doesn't seem to be bothered about the money, he wants the big fights and knows that with his style, trash talk, ambition and power people will come see him. he can always get the big fights afterwards.

davids sacrificed alot to make the fight happen and for that i give him major props. hell if a few more fighters had his attiditude to boxing and had his professionalism in training (yes im looking at you arreola and fat eddie) then maybe boxing would not be a 'dying' sport.

I think thats what you call daylight robbery.

the Klitchko fans should he offended by the way their fighters are acting.

I have no problem the K getting 70-30 or even 75-25 and a rematch clause but 95-5 and double rematch that fcuking stinks.

the K sisters know that Haye is a threat to them that's why they've taken every precaution to make sure they cash in on the fights w/ Haye and make sure at every opportunity to get the first crack at Haye if he beats them.

the K sisters know that this fight is what boxing wants. so in a sense it is a mandated fight. it will be a fight for the people's champ.

the K sisters do have most of the negotiating leverage, but so did DLH and he never tried the type of bull*****. For instance, DLH atleast gave Pac a 70-30 split of the HBO money and DLH never dipped into the money made in the philipines. What the K sisters have done is the worse example of greed and this is why a lot of people did not want the K sisters to have the belts because they would take the belts to Germany and hold them hostage there.

There are ethics in business. its exactly the kind of attitude that says that business and ethics have no relation that there is a global recession.

the K sisters are cowardly and greedy. They try and make a good guy image for themselves but this contract with Haye shows their true colors as villians.

If this is true i actually take back what i have previously said about Haye.. boxing needs more guys like this where money isn't that much of an issue, so many great fights have been failed to be made because of boxers being too greedy.. also lost alot of respect for Wlad.

I dont care what anyone else say but this is a greedy move, And him having to fight Vitali if he wins takes the biscuit......If Don King pull a move like this we all would be screaming so why should anyone make an exemption for the way the Klits seem to want to hold the HW to a ransom???

I seem to remember when Vitali and shelly finkel use to scream about how Don king is ruining the HW by keeping the belts in within his own fighters and asking for options on other fighters that challenge his fighter...Well what are the Klits who use to complain about it doing now????

And please dont give me this Haye doesnt deserve a chance crap, You get a chance at the top dog by what you bring to the table, Whether it the fans or mouth or TV audience, Hatton came from 140 to fight Mayweather at 147 after one fight at 147......Joe calzaghe came up to 175 to fight Hopkins after been the man at 168, So why cant Haye especially with the sad state of the HW at the moment.

I wonder why the brothers always seem to avenge each others losses rather then avenging the loss themself.. it doesn't redeem the loss if it's your brother who does it.

Agreed, I dont see how "your" brother can avenge a boxing ring loss. If i lose i dont want my brother to avenge my own loss for me!!! i would rather do that myself.

Haye won me over with this ****. Taking that kind of sacrifice to land the fight, finally someone who wants to make the fights and doesnt act like (pretend to be) a businessman like every other boxer today.
