Mentioned all those fighters because they fight everyone. I'm not talking about them fighting Floyd. they don't grab a title and then claim to "have beaten the best in that division".

Look at PacMan, he is trying to make money, but he is doing so by fighting very solid comp and other PFP fighters. Floyd hasn't fought anyone on anyones current PFP list (at their weight cuz Hatton was probably low top 10) since 2002. Castillo and Corrales were lower top 10 PFP guys at best at that time.

none of the WWs you mentioned were p4p when floyd was still boxing.

Hopkins fought Tito, JoeCal, Tarver, Pavlik.

these guys were willing to fight hopkins though, mainly because they thought he was over the hill.

Floyd last stepped up in 2002 to avenge his should be loss to Castillo

floyd called out cotto and mosley and both declined.

Nah, it was a solid win, but it lost a lot of luster when Hatton fought at 147 and got beat up by Collazo. It certainly doesn't qualify for Floyd's claims that he "fought and beat the best at 147".

the significance of that fight was that hatton was never on floyd's level

remove the "147" out of the sentence and i think the Hatton win is perfectly fine evidence that he's "fought and beat the best"

in the scope of Floyd's whole career, I think it's reasonable to say Floyd has fought the best for the most part. His run at 147 is a microscopic part of his career afterall. The icing on the cake essentially.
