Oscar who considered retirement, then was given hell by Forbes (although despite an entertaining back and forth fight, Oscar more or less won EVERY round). And although I thought Hatton lost to Collazo, everyone was talking about Ricky destroying Floyd, and how Floyd never fought anyone at 140-147, so yeah an undefeated 2 division champ is a good win. And losing to Collazo hardly makes you a bum, he's a world class fighter. Also, Judah, who never won a big fight (despite being undisputed champ...reallly?) has had his share of disappointments, but when he takes his training camp seriously he's one of the scariest fighters on the planet. He clearly gave Floyd everything he had in a close hard fought fight, and then got broken down and destroyed at the end. Floyd is a 5 division world champ, get off his nuts.
Oscar V Floyd was entertaining??? C'mon that fight was GARBAGE, slightly more entertaining than the Badomir fight because it was V Oscar. Why is judah scary? He gave floyd everything he could handle. Too bad he couldn't do the same against Tszyu or Cotto.

Look, I think Floyd whupped Ricky and DEFINITELY beat Oscar. I don't even consider that fight close, but you CANNOT tell me he fights the best. Look at who Shane Mosley fought in his career and he started at the same weight as Floyd. if floyd had shane's resume, he would have a couple L's.

****, I think Ricky has way bigger balls than Floyd. he fought Tszyu, stepped up a weight class to take on Collazo (who is one of my favorite fighters) and Floyd.

Refresh your memory on the 2 year layoff? In 2004 Tszyu had a 22 month layoff, in that time Floyd moved up to the division and entered the WBC tournament, one of the belts that Tszyu forfeited in his layoff. Yes, a megafight could have been made if Tszyu beat Hatton, but he was on the decline and even if Floyd fought him and won everyone would talk about how he picked on an old shell of a great fighter.

again, when could this fight have been made?

clotty is still marginalized. he will still be marginalized if he doesn't beat cotto... which is unlikely on PR parade day.

How do you know margo didn't cheat for the past 2-3 years?

how do you know how well margo would've done if he didn't cheat (that is if he did cheat)??? maybe all of margo's success is from cheating. if he didn't cheat maybe he wouldn't have gotten all the attention he did in the first place.

i don't think mosley or cotto have to fight pwill

bhop, mosley, srl, these guys called floyd the greatest of this generation... not me. you can quote them on that.
Floyd could have fought Tszyu whenever. Stop making excuses for his duck ass. You have an excuse for every fighter out there. Luckily we have real fighters out there like Miguel Cotto, Shane Mosley, Manny, JMM, BHOP, Adamek, Vic D, and the list goes on and on that get the fights made. Funny how they fight everyone else but Floyd.

Are we really supposed to believe they aren't afraid to fight each other but they are ducking Floyd. Laughable

Yeah if Floyd fought 2 divisions, he'd clean house too. But he didn't, he decided to be one of the few who could climb 5 divisions and make as much money as he could. If Floyd fought the same opposition as Shane, of course he'd have a couple losses. He wouldn't beat the version of Oscar that Shane fought, he wouldn't beat Winky either. But Shane, who started 1 weight class above floyd, is naturally bigger, and definitely has the power and chin to stand in front of these opponents unlike Floyd. Oscar started where Floyd is too, but they're too different fighters. Just because Pacquiao is fighting successfully above lightweight, doesn't mean Morales or Naseem Hamed should have attempted the same feats. We're talking apples and oranges here.

when could these fights have been made? arum was never gonna put his cashcow in against floyd. tszyu had sharmba as a mando, then he lost to hatton. there was no time for tszyu floyd to happen.

only guys I see floyd losing to is the same guys that mosley lost to. forrest and winky are bad style match ups for floyd.

surely dlh at 154 > collazo.

again, when could tszyu/floyd have happened?

Of course they wanna fight Floyd, he moved up to grab a belt and leave, he didn't belong in that division. ****, if Pacquiao moved up to middleweight you better believe Sturm, Pavlik, Abraham, and everyone else at 160 would be demanding that fight, calling Pacquiao a coward.

There are many fighters that try to fight the best out there. Floyd does not, because as you mentioned he is chasing only the money. it is possible to chase the money and not disrespect the sport and your fans (except the nutriders) by feeding them crap fights and challenging yourself.
