If Haye could beat Vlad then beat Vitali in the second bout, he would be one belt short of being the undisputed champ. The remaining belt holder would definitely accept a unification fight (although I think it's the WBO belt so it may not be worth grabbing). But Haye becoming the undisputed HV champ would be good for the sport.

This 3-fight deal with the Klitchko team is an ideal opportunity for Haye. If he can pull this off, boxing fans would no longer be held hostage to multiple "champs" and their promoters who won't make fights to determine who's top dog. He would deserve all the accolades.

Haye has balls and I appreciate that....That aspect right there has been missing. Bravado and a desire to show everyone that they TRULY believe they are THE MAN.

Go haye.....although I think you are getting pole axed by Vladimir....

We all know Wlad is the big favorite BUT Haye brings speed, is a big puncher and he's going to bring it. It's going to be fun to see if the confident Haye can do some damage and KO Wlad. I can't wait to see this fight and I hope Haye can pull the upset.

I'm pretty sure he thinks he can win. Whether he will or not is another question.

No, because he would almost certainly be stripped of his belts before the contract has expired, due to having to refuse to fight any mandatories during that period.

Luckily for him Wlad will put his balls on Hayes chin after he knocks him out...problem solved...Haye will finally have balls AND chin.

Haye may not refuse to fight mandatories in between his Klitchko fights as long as the contract itself doesn't stipulate that his next three consecutive fights have to be with either Vlad or Vitali. Of course he would have to win these non-Klitchko matches in order to wear all championship belts.

Those rematch clauses are the closest thing to "And we'll carry on fighting till I WIN - whereupon it's finished and I am the champ" yet.
